2022 INTENTIONS AND FLEXIBLE GOALS: GOOD, BETTER, BEST!

In this episode of the Podcast, Danielles shares about her Top 5 2022 Intentions and how to set flexible goals that you feel good about for a fresh new year!

We hope this episode inspires you to create your own Intentions and Flexible Goals for this new year!

Key Takeaways:

  • Our relationship with goals with and how it affects our mindset

  • Goals are adjustable and should change with the seasons you are in

  • How to set intentions and celebrate wins

Highlights from 2021:

  • We welcomed our new baby girl Rosemary to the family.

  • We welcomed new members of Action Takers Club, and our Mastermind.

  • I got to connect with some incredible people through the podcast.

  • I was able to double my monthly Recurring income through our online offerings.

  • I was also able to cut my working hours from about 30-40 hours/week to 10-15 hours per week.

Even though it was an incredible year, here’s the crazy thing… I didn’t hit any of my goals. So even though this was one of my favourite and best years, throughout the year as I realized I wasn’t going to hit my goals, I started feeling like a failure.

Goals are not the issue, it's our relationship with our goals. We think that if we don’t hit our goals, we are failures. This is simply NOT True. Our goals should be BIG goals that scare us, that move us outside of our comfort zone. But they should also be flexible.

As our situations change, so should our goals. We should come back to our goals monthly and quarterly and adjust. A lot changes throughout the year like life events, worldly events, and, even our priorities change.

This doesn’t mean we can’t dream big and set big goals! What I like to do with my clients is set Good, Better, Best goals

  • Good means you are able to pay yourself an amount that covers your expenses and fits well your lifestyle.

  • Better is a goal that you would feel excited about (kind of like giving yourself a bonus).

  • Best would be a stretch goal, a goal that if you hit, you’d be able to do something amazing like pay off your debt, start a savings account for your kid or take a Vacation!

Setting overarching intentions help empower you in your goals!

Examples of my intentions:

  1. I will be more present in each moment!

  2. I will spend less time on my phone.

  3. I will consistently create valuable content and podcast episodes for my community.

  4. I will intentionally be bringing more value to my clients, Mastermind Members and Action Takers Club students.

  5. I will invest more into my own coaching, education and learning.
