Just over a year ago, I was excited about so many things that were happening within our Business Babes Collective Community! The events we were hosting, the programs we were offering and the cities we were launching into as a brand. However, with that growth, came new challenges, new financial risks and lots of unknowns.
Often with growth, also comes growing pains… Can anyone else relate?
I found myself wanting feedback on the decisions I was having to make, as our business and community continued to grow. I had always been curious about Masterminds, as I had heard that some of the most successful business people out there, have credited Masterminds to be what has helped them grow, scale, and work through problems in their business.
It was within that Mastermind group, that I shifted my perspective on my business and instead of just doing the same things over and over again and expecting different results (by the way that is the definition of insanity), I started doing things differently.
I set up systems, set boundaries around my time, and eventually, it led me to launch our own Mastermind (an Idea that came from members within my own Mastermind BTW).
So you may be wondering, what exactly is a Business Mastermind?
It is an intimate group of entrepreneurs, who meet together (either virtually, in-person, or a combination of both- like ours) on a regular basis to discuss and offer support to each other’s businesses. A mastermind includes brainstorming, educating, and supporting.
Have you ever felt stuck? Maybe just wanting someone’s feedback on things you are working on? Maybe you want to diversify your income, increase your sales, launch a new program or product, and just need someone’s opinion on how to market it, how to launch it, and how to save yourself time and money along the way.

Some ways include running a search on Google, or using social media to see if there are any groups out there that you and your brand align with. You could also talk to friends, or other business owners and ask them if they know of any they would recommend.
While there are both free and paid groups, just be aware that each Mastermind comes with a different level of commitment. If you join a free Mastermind, that could be a great way to get started, but the commitment might not be there from the other members.
When you join a paid Mastermind, you are joining a group of people who value their own time and are invested. This means they will pay attention and be more engaged, giving you and your brand the value you deserve.
