111 - Four Ways to Show up BIG for your Business

Here’s the truth - to experience success in your business, you are going to have to show up BIG. Let's talk about 4 ways you can show up BIG in your Business.

  1. Show up big for your clients and customers.

    Communication is key when it comes to building and maintaining relationships with your clients and customers. Ask yourself, are you bringing value and showing up as the best version of yourself in all interactions, whether in person, virtually, or over email?

  2. Show up big for your brand.

    Building a strong brand is essential for any business, and it starts with consistent and authentic representation across all platforms. Whether you're active on social media, a YouTube channel, or a podcast, make sure you're showing up big and consistently to reach and engage your audience. Remember, you don't have to be on every platform, but wherever you choose to be present, make sure it's done well.

  3. Show up big by investing in your own growth and education.

    In order for your business to grow, you must first grow as a person. Investing in yourself and your education is a surefire way to fast track the growth of your business. Seek out opportunities for professional development and personal growth, and commit to them wholeheartedly.

  4. Show up big for events, both virtual and in-person.

    Attending events, whether virtual or in-person, is an excellent way to network and learn new things. Not only should you attend events hosted by others, but also consider hosting your own. When you do attend events, make sure you show up big by fully participating and engaging with the community.

Showing up big for your business is essential to its growth and success. Remember to show up big for your clients and customers, brand, your own growth and education, and events. Take the time to reflect and ask yourself, "How can I show up big today?" The results will speak for themselves.

[00:00:18] Today I wanna share four ways that you can show up big for your business. [00:01:32] Welcome to the Business Babes Collective podcast. I'm your host, Danielle Wiebe. In this podcast, you'll learn tangible business tips and strategies on how to grow successfully and sustainably. We'll also interview seasoned entrepreneurs so you can listen in on their stories and see behind the scenes of what it took to grow and scale their businesses. Let's dive in as we discuss the wild, exciting, crazy challenging, rollercoaster ride of [00:02:00] entrepreneurship.

[00:02:02] Here's the truth. If you want to see success in your business, you are going to have to show up big. And I know, especially when we start as entrepreneurs, it can be really, really nerve wracking to put yourself out there and to start to talk about your business and become confident in what you're selling, whether it be a product or a service, or just an idea in your head right now.

[00:02:24] It can be really, really difficult to figure out like, how do I show up big? How do I put my best fit forward? And so that's what we're gonna be talking about today. How to show up big for your business so that you can experience the success that you're looking for. So I have four tips and four ways that you can show up big.

[00:02:43] So I'm gonna share those four tips with you now. So number one is show up big for your clients and customers. even that, if that's only one or two customers right now, show up big for them. So when you are communicating with your customers and with your clients, are [00:03:00] you showing up as the best version of yourself?

[00:03:03] Whether this be an in-person conversation, maybe around the holidays. You're doing lots of markets, you're popping up about events. Um, whether you, maybe you meet someone in person for a coaching or a service, whatever that might be, are you showing up for those people who are supporting and investing in your business?

[00:03:25] Okay. Number two is show up for your brand. So how are you showing up to build your brand and build your business? Are you showing up through your newsletter on social media or maybe a YouTube channel or a podcast? And when you show up, , are you being consistent in these places or your platforms? Are you are, are you jumping from one platform to another platform?

[00:03:49] You're trying to be active on everything but not really being consistent on anything. Does that sound familiar? Because I've totally been there, so , no judgment at all, [00:04:00] but your audience is gonna start to, when you show up consistently, and I highly suggest, especially if you don't have a team yet, and it's just you. Choose one platform that you are going to consistently show up, and show up big on, for a period of time so that you can build that know, like and trust factor with your community and with your potential customers and clients. So again, you do not have to show up everywhere, but wherever you are showing up, try to be consistent with it so that you can build that trust. All right.

[00:04:38] Number three is show up big by investing in your own growth and education. So I have actually been investing in my own business and my own growth since even before my business was truly profitable. I knew that in order for my business to grow that I had to [00:05:00] grow. There were things that I needed to learn.

[00:05:02] I needed to educate myself in certain areas, and I also needed coaching so that I could show up and I could show up as the best version of myself. So, for your business to actually grow faster, you wanna work harder on yourself than you actually do on your business. So show up big. Invest in yourself.

[00:05:23] And know, when you spend time and when you invest financially in your own growth, in your own education, it's gonna come back tenfold, because, when you learn something new or when you are able to break through a mindset block that's been holding you back, there are ripple effects from those things and so, find people that you admire.

[00:05:45] Find people that inspire you and push you past your comfort zone and invest in coaching. Invest in programs or courses or things that you can uplevel your mindset, [00:06:00] where you can uplevel your skillset, whatever that is, so that you can become a better business owner and you can learn things that are gonna help to push your business to the next.

[00:06:09] Okay. Number four is show up big for events. So this is both, both virtual and in-person. So attending virtual and in-person events has been such a vital part of my business growth since the beginning. And of course, we've hosted events for our own business, but I have always made it a priority to go to other people's events.

[00:06:34] And this is one of the best ways that you can network, that you can learn new things, that you can put yourself in the right rooms because, just think about the other people that you know of that are successful. They got themselves in the right rooms with other people that were like-minded that could help them move forward faster.

[00:06:57] And I think when we try to do our [00:07:00] business all on our own, and we're just a solo entrepreneur, we're kind of closed off from the world, we are really limiting our growth. And so I encourage you, get in the right rooms, attend those events. Again, whether that be virtual or in person, there's so many opportunities these days to connect.

[00:07:16] So make sure you make that a priority in your business schedule to attend some of these things. So I wanna give an example. Um, for me this week I'm actually attending a virtual challenge, and it is every day at 7:00 AM for about an hour to an hour and a half. And I've committed to showing up every day. Not only showing and just having, okay, you know, camera off showing up. I'm there. I'm kind of multitasking. No, I'm like, I'm gonna show up. I'm gonna pay attention, I'm gonna take notes. I'm gonna be active in this chat. I'm gonna have my camera on. And anytime there's a question or a way to react to something, like I'm gonna be there and I'm gonna be actually active.

[00:07:58] And so I [00:08:00] actually also paid for the V I P upgrade so that I could get some extra time with the person who's hosting the event and she's doing group coaching at the end. And today I showed up and I was engaged and I raised my hand when she asked if anyone had questions. So she ended up bringing me on and I was able to ask my question directly to her.

[00:08:18] And if I were to not show up big For that virtual event, I could have hidden the corner, I could have turned my camera off, I could have been multitasking, but I would not have gotten what I got out of that training. I would've got one third if that out of the training today. But I got so much out of it because I was present and I showed up big.

[00:08:42] So I just wanna encourage you, whatever you are doing today, whatever you are doing this week, whatever you are doing this month, whatever you're showing up for, show up big. I can promise you it is gonna make all the difference.
