But before we dive in, I wanted to make sure that you, if you're listening to this episode, that you have already gotten access to our free [00:01:00] Breakthrough Growth workshop. Gain massive credibility within your industry. Open up doors for speaking opportunities or media opportunities. Create relationships with influential leaders in your industry, growing your social platforms organically without having to, you know, post to go viral and having people ask how they can work with you and how they can buy with you.

[00:01:44] Danielle: So if all of that sounds really good to you, then go ahead and go to business babes collective.com/ growth. Again, that's business babes collective.com/growth to get access to the workshop, [00:02:00] and you are gonna learn so much within that hour of me really diving into the strategy that I'm also gonna be talking about today on the podcast.

[00:02:09] Danielle: So with a further ado, let's go ahead and get. Started with our episode today. Welcome to the Business Babes Collective podcast. I'm your host, Danielle. We, in this podcast, you'll learn tangible business tips and strategies on how to grow successfully and sustainably. We'll also interview season entre. So you can listen in on their stories and see behind the scenes of what it took to grow and scale their businesses.

[00:02:36] Danielle: Let's dive in as we discuss the wild, exciting, crazy challenging, rollercoaster ride of entrepreneurship. You've heard me talk about this before, but I'm gonna keep talking about it because it is so incredibly important when it comes to building a successful business. Your community is truly everything.

[00:02:57] Danielle: Now, when I say community, I mean [00:03:00] the people that you are surrounding yourself with on a weekly or monthly basis, hopefully on a regular basis, and people. are those people that you're surrounding yourself with? Are those people, people that are inspiring you, are pushing, you, are, um, challenging you and cheering you on?

[00:03:21] Danielle: And are those people, people that want you to be successful? And I talked about this in previous episodes of how important that is. And on the flip side of. , when you start to build a business and when you start to really grow your own community. So when you start putting yourself out there, creating content, whatever that looks like as a business owner, maybe you start to grow an email list or a Facebook group.

[00:03:49] Danielle: You know, creating your own community is really what is going to help your business and your brand thrive, especially long [00:04:00] term. , I get asked often, , how do you go about actually building a community? Like how do you build a thriving community around your brand? And many entrepreneurs that I talk to really, really struggle with this piece.

[00:04:17] Danielle: and there's a lot of strategies out there as far as growing your community. So all of these strategies, by the way, are great strategies. They're strategies that I have personally done within my business. So things like growing your social media, launching a podcast or YouTube channel, building your email list, creating free resources that people can join your email list through creating a Facebook page, you know, all or Facebook group.

[00:04:42] Danielle: I mean, all those things are are great things, however, . These strategies are really things that are long-term strategies, right? So what I wanna talk about today is how can we partner those long-term, slower [00:05:00] growth strategies that are gonna take time and effort in order to build, which are foundational and they're very important to your business.

[00:05:07] Danielle: However, how can we couple that. with a collaborative strategy and the one I'm gonna talk about today, and really put in that time, energy, and effort so that you can actually speed up the growth of building your community, building your email list, and ultimately building your business. So when I think about eight years ago when we started this community, I think about the fact that we started.

[00:05:38] Danielle: getting collaborators on board that shared our vision. Right? And I think I've told this story before about how when we had zero zero followers on Instagram, when I had zero connections, I would really look for people that I was inspired by, that I wanted to connect with, and I would connect with [00:06:00] them. So whether that.

[00:06:01] Danielle: was virtually over social media, whether that was through email, whether it was asking them if I could take them out for a coffee, treat them to a lunch or a coffee date, and really, you know, get to know them and then share the vision that I had for what I wanted to create. And slowly but surely, we started grow.

[00:06:22] Danielle: our community now, eight years ago, we even, I mean, of course there was the online space, but it wasn't what it was today. So if I were to be starting from scratch today, I would actually do that process. The actually exact same process of building those relationships and building those connections. . But what I would do is I would do it in a way that would be allow me to grow my email list, grow my exposure, establish credibility, ramp up my sales in the matter of 60 to 90 days, and that's what I'm gonna be talking about today.

[00:06:59] Danielle: [00:07:00] So, As many of you know, those of you who have been around for a while, you know, I love talking about the power of collaborations and partnerships. I believe that that is truly the way that you can grow so much more, um, so much quicker, but then also so much more sustainably. Cuz really business is all about connections.

[00:07:22] Danielle: It's all about relationships, it's all about people and. . And so I believe that any way that you collaborate, whether it be with another business owner or another brand is can be so powerful. But something I haven't gone into a ton of detail on this podcast. Um, and you know, the only really place that I go into real deep detail on this is through my private clients as well as in our mastermind, but it's the power of collaborative.

[00:07:53] Danielle: So specifically bringing together several collaborators who are all helping to share and [00:08:00] promote one event and making it a win-win for everyone involved. So this is literally, like I said, we have been doing this for eight years and we have been doing this in person. We have also done this online, and more recently I have started to really.

[00:08:18] Danielle: My private clients and mastermind members with doing this for their businesses as well. So something that I've really started to realize, especially over the past year, is that no matter what business you are in, no matter what industry you're in, you will always benefit from growing your community specifically.

[00:08:42] Danielle: your email list, your list of other collaborators who you can potentially partner with and work with as well as your client base. And I believe one of the fastest and most effective ways that you can do this is through events and. , [00:09:00] I believe that specifically virtual events, especially for, you know, the day and age that we are in right now, where so much is at our fingertips, this is such an incredible and powerful way to grow our businesses.

[00:09:16] Danielle: Faster, more efficiently, and with so much more ease by creating these experiences for our ideal clients that our ideal clients and customers love, and that create that community around our brand. So whether that be. hosting a collaborative workshop, a conference, a challenge, a masterclass, a summit, a retreat, an interview series.

[00:09:42] Danielle: Really, you can brand it however you want, but the basic idea is to get a collaborative group of people together. For a specific vision, and then everyone promotes it to their communities, and as a result, this helps you grow your community and [00:10:00] your exposure and your email list, and then ultimately it helps you grow your sales as well.

[00:10:06] Danielle: And so the key to this, because I get a lot of questions on this, um, the key is making it a win-win for everyone. So as you all know, whenever I talk about collaborations, whenever I talk about partnerships, I talk about the only way that it can truly work is if everyone involved is. Winning from the experience.

[00:10:27] Danielle: So all of the collaborators are excited to be a part of this. They get benefits from joining with you, and they are happy and excited to promote it to their own communities. So by working with others who share your vision and your mission, you can create a community of people who are your exact ideal clients and customers.

[00:10:50] Danielle: Who truly need what you have to offer. So instead of going out there and trying to reach your ideal client, you're actually [00:11:00] bringing hundreds or thousands of your ideal clients to you. So, This all probably sounds really exciting, and I'm sure you're like, oh my gosh, maybe your mind is blown. Maybe you've never thought about it this way, or, or maybe you have, but you didn't really necessarily think it was possible for you.

[00:11:20] Danielle: I'm here to tell you whether you have a product-based business, whether you, whether you have a service-based business, whether it's online, doesn't matter. This can work for. . And so I often get asked a lot of questions when I talk about this. So I wanted to kind of briefly answer some of these questions.

[00:11:36] Danielle: So the number one question I always get is, Danielle, I don't have a community of my own. So how can I create value? So again, like I talked about at the beginning of this episode, I didn't have a community when I got started either. Everyone starts at zero. So my answer to this is that you don't need a large audience.

[00:11:54] Danielle: What you need is a big vision, a powerful vision, and a way to [00:12:00] create value by creating a collaborative experience for everyone. So everyone is going to be promoting this event, and it's gonna be a collective community that's created where everyone benefits from. . So the next question I always get asked is, , Hey, I am in kind of like a transition, or I'm in a pivot in my business and I'm not exactly sure what is that next thing, that next offer that I wanna sell.

[00:12:29] Danielle: And so many of you know, both my private clients and even people in our mastermind, they're business owners that maybe have been providing a product or a service to their audience. And now where they're wanting to create more of a passive income stream, but they don't necessarily. what they wanna offer, yet they're not super clear on that, and that is totally okay.

[00:12:52] Danielle: There are so many people in that exact position. And the beautiful thing about this is that when I talk about building community, [00:13:00] the cool thing is that when you build this community around your brand, they will tell you. what they want from you. And so you don't even need to guess what your ideal client wants or needs.

[00:13:12] Danielle: You can build the community first and have them actually reflect back to you what they need. So that is a really powerful way to actually build a business, is to build the community first, and then provide products and services that serve that c. . So number three, I get asked, like, I have no idea where to even start with this

[00:13:37] Danielle: Um, I don't even know where to look for people who I would collaborate with, like who would even wanna work with me. And this is where I get really excited because I feel like this is, One of my superpowers is coming up with creative ways to research experts within your specific industry, and then be able to figure out how to not only connect with them, [00:14:00] but pitch them in a way that is going to be effective and well received.

[00:14:05] Danielle: So there's lots of different ways to actually find these people, put them on your list, and then pitch them in a way that's actually gonna be exci. They're gonna be excited to be a part of what. are going to be doing. So the next question often I get asked is that people say they're bad with technology, they get really overwhelmed with it.

[00:14:26] Danielle: How do they even go about this? And trust me, I totally hear you because technology used to scare the daylights outta me, , if I'm being honest. But the good news is, is that there are so many tools out there now that can make this process. Super streamlined and trust me if I can do it, I promise you anyone can do it.

[00:14:50] Danielle: And then the last question that I often get asked is, I don't understand, you know, all the steps that would be necessary. This seems like a cool idea and exciting, [00:15:00] but like where do I even start when it comes to creating something like this? So, as with. anything is figure outable. You can totally take these steps.

[00:15:10] Danielle: You can run with them yourself and do it on your own. But I'm also super excited to share and announce that I have curated and created a program specifically for you that actually walks you through the A to Z of how to put together. Epic experience geared towards your ideal clients using the power of collaborations and partnerships?

[00:15:38] Danielle: This program is called Breakthrough Growth Accelerator, and it is a brand new program that has been curated to exactly what my clients and my mastermind members have been meeting, and I was actually going to just offer this program exclusively. within my mastermind, but I decided, because [00:16:00] I knew there were so many other people that could benefit from this, I decided to open it up to the public, which means that you, even if you're not a current client or mastermind member, you can join me for our very first round of Breakthrough Growth Accelerator.

[00:16:18] Danielle: So it is going to, Intimate group program for those of you who are ready to explode your visibility, to grow your email list, to get in front of hundreds, if not thousands of new ideal clients. And I am so excited to hold your hand, to walk you through this, to co coach you through the entire process from start to finish, that you feel super, super confident on how to run this experience, run this.

[00:16:48] Danielle: So if you're curious to learn more about the program and chat with me about it, I would love to chat with you and just be honest with you, like where you're at. Is this the right next step [00:17:00] for you? And if not, what are the next steps that you need to take? So I would love to connect. The best way to do this is to actually register for our breakthrough.

[00:17:10] Danielle: Workshop there, you can watch, watch the workshop, um, which goes through this process and it it shares with you the steps. And then you can book a call with me through that link. So I am taking calls this week only as we are starting the beginning of March. So do not wait to go register for the workshop and then book a call with me.

[00:17:34] Danielle: I can't wait to connect with you. I can't wait to learn more about your goals for what you wanna create over the next several months in your business and just where you'd like to be this time next year. I'd love to hear about your dreams and aspirations for, for your business. So again, you can go to business fas collective.com/growth to register for the workshop and then.

[00:17:58] Danielle: you'll get the [00:18:00] opportunity to book a call with me and see if the program is the right fit for you. So I'm so incredibly excited for this first ever cohort. I promise it will never be this intimate of a, of a group or this affordable ever again. This is the a last minute decision that I decided to open this up.

[00:18:22] Danielle: And. Didn't, don't have a long timeframe to actually promote this program. So it's gonna be a really intimate, really curated group of women who are ready to create some amazing community and grow their business in a way that is really in line with their values. That creates a ton of value for their clients, and it's a natural.

[00:18:47] Danielle: to actually create relationships with their ideal clients and ultimately increase their sales as well. So no matter what stage of your business you're at, I would love to answer questions that you might [00:19:00] have about this. So if you have specific questions, you can also just DM me on Instagram, so you can go to Instagram, type in Danny Danny with an eye living life, and I would love to connect you with you there.
