Okay, let's dive in now into a little bit of a podcasting and my journey because I want to share with you three reasons why I think podcasting has been one of the best decisions that we've made to be able to grow the business sustainably.
[00:05:37] Number one. It has given me the ability to , create valuable content for you as my community, and content that I really enjoy creating on a consistent basis. And then from there, I get to repurpose this content. So we've talked about this on the podcast before, about how powerful it is to have a long form content.
[00:05:59] Whether that be a [00:06:00] podcast, a YouTube channel, or a blog that you then repurpose to other platforms like social media platforms, your email, et cetera. If you are trying to create every single piece of content in your business from scratch, and it's not repurposed from anywhere, you aren't wasting a lot of time because you are having to create that content several times over.
[00:06:24] And so that is one of the biggest benefits that podcasting has given me. It's given me the consistency. So I show up twice a week in your earbuds , and it's a way for me to just stay consistent, to provide value for this incredible community that we've curated here.
[00:06:40] Number two is the collaboration and networking opportunities that it has given me.
[00:06:47] Now, you know I am a huge fan and huge advocate for networking and for collaboration. It's one of my favorite things to talk about. I talk about it a lot on the podcast [00:07:00] and I think this podcast has given me an incredible opportunity to have conversations with inspiring people because we are able to leverage our podcasting platform and so I can invite incredibly inspiring guests on this show where we can have a conversation.
[00:07:18] And then we can actually bring value to this community. So not only are we able to provide value for you as a listener, but the cool thing is I get to connect with these women and network with them. And often either before or after the episode, we're chatting, we're like, Hey, how can I support you?
[00:07:38] And what do you have coming up? And it's just a cool way to network, to build. relationships to build connections. And a lot of those relationships and connections have turned into, collaborative partnerships. So whether that be being affiliates for one another or speaking in each other's masterminds.
[00:07:58] So many different [00:08:00] benefits have come as a result of having a podcast and being able to really provide value as well.
[00:08:07] And then number three is that the podcast has allowed me to build a stronger connection with our community, so you as our community. So if you are someone who maybe you recently found us, so it's been able to actually grow our community and grow our reach.
[00:08:25] And that's been super incredible and beautiful as well. However, we've been building this business for eight years. And so some of you are like, Hey, I'm OG. I've been here since the beginning, I've been either attending your events or I've been following you on Instagram. And so that has been really cool because there's been so many people who have been a part of our community for a long time that then have found out that we have a podcast.
[00:08:50] And so I have been able to build stronger connections and relationships with some of you because of that. Because I'm showing up, twice a week on this platform. And [00:09:00] then you get to hear my voice. You get to learn from me and from the other incredible women that we have featured on this podcast.
[00:09:07] It builds that trust. And so it's been really cool because a lot of the people that I have chatted to that either are new members of our mastermind, or have joined Action Takers Club or even our in person events or hired me for coaching have said things like, yeah, I've been listening to your podcast for the last, six months or for the last few months or for the last year.
[00:09:30] And it's just really cool because I think when we are business owners and we are looking for what do we want to invest in as far as growing our businesses to the next level? What kind of support, what kind of coaching do we feel like we need? Often what we do is we look for people who have already been showing up for us.
[00:09:51] We look for mentors or people that we have been consuming their content, their free content. [00:10:00] And because we already have that relationship with them, we have that connection and we have that trust with them, it's so much easier to say yes because we know the way that they teach. We know that the way that we, the way that they care for their communities and what kind of experience that we'll have working with them.
[00:10:19] And so that has been just a really cool way that, again, we've been able to reach more people and grow our community, but then also grow deeper relationships with the community that we already have. So I would say overall, podcasting has provided an incredible way that we've been able to grow and scale the business sustainably.
[00:10:39] And when I decided to launch this podcast two years ago, this was a dream that I had for a very long time. I'm going to be honest with you, I did put it on the back burner for a long time and I actually talk about that. I'll link the episode in the show notes, but I talk about that in the Breakthrough Growth conference that we did in January and how I really [00:11:00] held myself back for a long time.
[00:11:01] But I could have never imagined that we would, reach the place that we have currently. You know, I have so many goals for this podcast and where I want to grow it to, but I never could have imagined that we would reach the top 1. 5. We're now sitting at 1. 5% of podcasts globally, and we are listened to in over 60 countries around the world.
[00:11:25] I could have never imagined that would be the impact and the reach that this platform would have, And I just can't wait to continue to serve you with amazing free content this is just the beginning for this podcast.
